Noticed for awhile now and never thought to ask the question.

I notice this mainly on long straights when you come up to the brake marker and slam on the brakes nothing happens regarding FFB signals sent to my SimXperience FFB. Now I am not sure if it is rfactor2 or the sim commander software that does not respond but for at least .500 sec to 1.00 sec nothing happens and then the seat moves forward and you can feel the brakes coming on.

Has anyone else felt this or is there a setting in commander that I need to change? Maybe something in the plr file?

I have not noticed this, and have not adjusted anything in profile.
I don't have the SimXperience program, so maybe it is something in that.
Is this SimX thing part of your wheel drivers? I'm not familiar with it.

SimXperience motion platform from SimXperience.com and they use SimCommander 3 for their FFB. It is a weird feeling cause you race down the straight feeling motion, slam on the brakes feeling no response for about half a second, then full ffb. It is actually the same as coming out of the pits before the plugins load, same feeling.

There's no delay in the feeding of information. Perhaps it's an issue they would want to be told about?

Did you get this sorted ?

Could be your settings in your profile ( in sim commander )

Are you using smoothing? -This can introduce some latency

Are you actuator speeds set to low?

The gforces set in your braking effect may need to be lower, you are maybe only feeling gforces above a certain point thus it feels like a delay

Or a combination of some of the above things?
