When I connected the gamepad for testing purposes I changed the steering rate, speed sensitivity, and deadzone. I now have a wheel connected the game has no option to load the default settings.
In the menu where you set the controls, when you click 'load' and select 'AZ Keyboard' then, that should load the defaults, i guess.
You can click on Detect which should load the DFGT profile or as Bernd said, click load and scroll through until you find the Logitech Driving Force GT USB profile and load that. The steering rate only applies to digital controllers like keyboards and buttons so with a wheel you don't have to worry about it. Speed sensitivity decreases steering lock at higher speeds, start at zero. Deadzone start with zero.
