Dedicated Server won't start because of unavailable ports

Hi guys,

after updating the server using the following command:

steamcmd +login anonymous +force_install_dir ../rFactor2-Dedicated +app_update 400300 +quit

I'm no longer able to start it, because of the following error:

I don't have a multiplayer.ini file, but in my multiplayer.json file I have the following ports configured:

"HTTP Server Port":64297,
"Simulation Port":54297,

And if I check the ports before running the Dedicated Server I see they're not used:

Although it's not the problem (because of the message and because the Dedicated Server stops immediatlely), on the router, I still have port forwarding configured as following:

Before the upgrade (although it may be a coincidence) everything worked fine and the server had been used by a few people from the Internet.

Any hints on how to troubleshoot this?

Thanks, jaco

Did you reboot or check for leftover rF2 processes still running?

Hi @Lazza, I rebooted a couple of times.

Thanks, jaco

PS: on that Windows instance, I have no rFactor2 (client installation). I installed just SteamCMD and the Dedicated Server.

Hi all, just for information, I removed the dedicated-server and resintalled it from scratch, repeated the unlock procedure and it now works as before.
