Released December 2020 Build Update

Hello folks,

A new build of rFactor 2 should be available the next time you restart your Steam client. The build contains the new Competition System, with the first race events set to be added on Thursday.

So how do you start the game in VR now?
There is now longer an option to setup graphics when you start in steam

 

How to start ModDev and how to set the graphic options for ModDev?

 

Starting, restarting seems to have restored the other options when starting the game from steam for me.
Not exactly sure what "fixed" it, but its back again now

I know that, thats how ive been doing it for i dont know how many years

The problem was, that option was not showing initially after the update.

 

Dont got that too, after the update. Its allways booting into sp.

 

How to compile a vmod now? By starting the ModMgr.exe manually? Is it supposed to be that way?

I run the "gMotor2 MAS File Utility" tool from "rFactor 2 \ Support \ Tools" as usual

 

Dev mode is there too.

Sigh.
Now this forced me onto the new UI; you might want to tell people that is what will happen in the first post and also on your web info.
Second, the numerous bugs in the new UI still exist. First one, has to get fixed: UI starts up in 1920x1080, and I have a native 1920x1200 monitor. So go into graphics settings, change it, says it wants to apply, confirm, and shows now at 1920x1200. Switch to another tab, back to graphics, shows as 1920x1080. Everything is now scaled in UI and in simulator incorrectly.
Come on guys. Fix this shit.

 

Is the option to go back to old UI still available...Please tell me it is still available...
