I have changed all the spotter files to the Dale JR spotter files from RP Motorsports. I need some one to pack them back up so they will work in the game. Thanks for any help. https://www.mediafire.com/?ge55b8mo78y5k4k
I have but i just went with the Commentary that was in the game. I took all the audio files out and renamed the one's from the Dale JR to match what is default in game, but now i need some one to pack the back up so they work in game.
I don't know if it's possible to do that, but there is a commentary field in the packager. Open up rFactor 2\Support\Tools and run the mas2 program. You can find tutorials on how to make components around here, it's not hard.
Hi ! When will it be possible to simply Mod the original spooter ? (like asked by the original poster). I have modded and repack "commentary" of the DEV folder, but we can do noting with that.... Are you working on it ?
I am working on a Stock car sound pack for the Crew Chief program which has TJ as your spotter and Gregg plus myself on the pitbox. I have to do some recording myself as it is not possible to get all of that from real recordings.
Thank you, i'll keep a look on your work. Yes i have read about the Spotter Plug-in and already used Crew Chief for other sim, but i would like just to launch the game and drive with the embedded spotter modified.
@Navigator Thank you for the file. But i have always the same original spotter and not my commentaries empacked in the mod i have created. You have some advises ?
Nice to see it solved. I really don't know where the spotter comes from mate; Larry asked the sounds in het download link to be placed in a "Commentary.rfcmp" and I did just that. And its all I did; I didn't even open a file.......
Ah ! it's the Larry's spotter folder !? LOL , so the problem is that i don't do the good things when i create my "Commentary.rfcmp" I have read the Help file in the TOOL folder, i think i do the good things, but, apparently not.
