Customize, Control, Connect... So why is it so hard?

RFactor was seen as the sim that you can mod...
So why is it so hard to find a comprehensive guide for a complete beginner?
And why is it SO COMPLICATED??

Using RTB I can build a basic track and have it in Assetto Corsa in half an hour.
But with rFactor I just even know where to begin?

RF heavily depends on modders adding new tracks and cars, so why is it so difficult to learn?
I would love to learn this and maybe build a guide on how to achieve it.
I mean a guide for complete beginners, a step by step.

Please.
Someone point me in the right direction??

Basically, you need 10 minutes to convert a track for rF2, is the easiest thing in the world. But then, the "complicated" part of the work is to make it to the current standard, and you can find all the info here.

10 minutes for a bad looking track, some months for a good looking track with all the awesome features that rF2 has.

AC modding is faster just beacuse it doesn't have any features.
