Yeh, I`ve noticed the AI are a good deal faster with v1.0 than they were before too... I know some people have reported slight problems with the AI in v1.0 (I`ve not noticed anything major yet) but you have definitely made them go faster feels.
I noticed after a bit more driving they do have a tendency to spin out on the exit of t1 after clipping the inside kerb. Its something I was doing too until adjusting my setup a little so likely that's their main issue there. AI still have the odd bugs here and there but no different to most tracks so its likely the built in code itself. I haven't tried longer races with pitstops yet may give that a go later when I get a chance to. There aren't any sections where they are particularly slow like on most tracks where there are a few sections the AI lose stacks of speed relative to what we can do. I will have a go online later but my net connection sucks ATM but am upgrading to a better one hopefully in the next week or so to let me drive online a bit. My current high ping unreliable wireless internet is pretty much useless for online racing lol. Its good to race AI though if you want a large field on a particular track with whatever cars you want.
AFAIK the Lola is delivered in 2 ways: one is packaged with 6 tracks (including Croft 0.91) and the second one is the car alone. Check the Lola thread on first post: http://isiforums.net/f/showthread.php/7929-Lola-T280-by-PIXSIM-WIP So AFAIK it mean you can uninstall the Lola, uninstall Croft 0.91, install the Lola alone and the Croft v1.0 For now I kept the old one, but I think you can proceed like I said above.
do you really have to uninstall the old version? i must have 5 mods with that in. can i not just install this one over the top?
Is it to do with the mod or the track that the AI all seem to pit at once in changing conditions? They all seem to pit straight away when conditions change so they might pit 4 times in a race... they can't stand to run on damp track with slicks
Feels, I love your work and your circuits are stunning,, but I have to make only one critics: There is almost no grip in this circuit and I have noticed this also in Poznan Park, especially with the 370Z and the GTR! The 370Z is my favorite car and I feel the grip in every circuit except these two ! It seems, also, that the grip doesn't improve even with 25 cars and after 60min' of practice! does the Real Road work properly? Thanks
That's weird. I don't have any problems with grip at Croft. We had practice today in our league at Croft, and real road have worked fine.
Thanks feels3 great update, feels as though i need to learn track again, i too am struggling with grip but im sure poznan was the same until i got used to it, great work thanks
My settings in tdf file are very similar to ISI's settings. But ok, I will check this again and see what I can do.
You should not feel obligated to make changes! If you think everything is fine, then leave it like that! I'm nobody!
once again, do i REALLY need to uininstall the old version - i would like to know why it's recommended, what issues it may cause.
No you do not need to uninstall the old version, in fact if you've any vmods using it you won't be able to. The new version is entirely standalone.
