Every once in a while when trying to return to game after an alt-esc from full screen to desktop, in multiplayer the game crashes to desktop. While it has happened just generally, it also appears to happen after a session change in the mulitplayer session. Just wondering if this has been observed before?
This is happening to me too now, in multiplayer and single player. Any time I alt-tab out, I cannot get back in without it crashing. Also, when I start the game, my first mouse click on the UI will throw me to the desktop. Usually I can re-enter the game after it does that, but not always. This just started happening with 880.
I have done threads on this for 3 years ! USE FULLSCREEN WINDOWED MODE !! NOT Alt-Tab It does not " crash" !!! Trust me !!!! lol
Durge is right, and in case you have trouble reading his post, windowed mode works, or at least is a good work around for the problem, you wont notice any difference when you are using the same res for rf2 and your monitor.
I can alt-tab out and get back in most of the time. Occasionally I just get a black screen when trying to get back in but never had a crash. Difference could be other installed programs and/or drivers? My racing pc is very very clean because I use HyperOS.
