SOLVED CPU thread usage reaches maximum when using CSL DD >>> The cause was ReShade!

Sorry, what is "reshade"? Some thirdy part content?
And fanalab?
Do i need any of this to play rf2 with fanatec csl dd?
ReShade is a third-party external application that enhances game graphics.
(Similar tools include ENB and SweetFX)
It is not required to play rFactor2 with CSL DD.

You can freely create your own ReShade presets, and below is an example of a recent preset.

FanaLab was the software needed to configure Fanatec devices, but it was replaced last year by the new Fanatec App.
However, the Fanatec App still has many issues and is undergoing continuous fixes through updates.

Thank you. I learned about Fanatec app yesterday but cant really configure the wheelbase to really work at same speed of the wheel on screen.
Tried everything. It worked the software limitation per car and overall feeling of ffb is great but is Impossible to properly drive.
It feels like having a dead zone in the center or some smoothing config in the real wheel that makes csl dd a little bit slower than the wheel on the screen.
I was on yellow light on the DD box indicating that was some adaptativa mode.
I gave up and put on PC mode again and everything become worst.
Now im stuck searching the NET someone with similar problem.
I dont know why i insist with rf2. I had assetto corsa, assetto competizione, automobilista 2.... But i refuse to let rf2 for some reason. I might be a masoquist, It is the only plausible explanation.

My CSL DD (8Nm, QR1) works fine in rFactor 2 using the Fanatec App.
(My only issue is that profiles don't load automatically like they do in FanaLab.)
Does your problem occur in sims other than rFactor 2?
What is the version of your Fanatec App and wheel base firmware?
For reference, I'll show you screenshots of my rFactor 2 and Fanatec App settings.

Thank you, much apreciate.
My csl dd is exactly like your but in game is a little be different, i Will try.
Mine doenst load automatically too.
Also i lower my graphics settings to medium wich helped a Lot. Maybe i should lower more to get at least 60 fps before complaining.
After giving UP, i tried settings indicated for automobilista 2 and its was working perfectly. I had some issues only with little brakes spiking stand in the garage, but solved puting a little dead zone (5% maybe) to avoid the game braking but itself or Just for my feet touching It (im using standard Fanatec pedals).
But when solve this, braking was pretty much 0% or 100%. Read It some articles in the NET but i was too tired to continue but seems simple to solve too.
Also i think i disabled some steam input under properties/controller on steam rf2 app. Will undo this If It was disabled.
I Will try your settings in game. I think i put steering Wheel angle at 1080 (Mine came with an Xbox compatible Wheel for gt3).
Also in assetto Corsa It worked in the First time (dont remember If automatically load the profile, i also start the games from steam menu - It could be that for not automatically loading the profile)
Thanks again. Waiting a couple of days to mentally recover from the fight.
Cheers

Once you've recovered, give it another shot!
By the way, the new Fanatec App v1.2.1.3 was released just a day ago, but this update doesn't include firmware for the CSL DD, so I tried it myself and nothing changed.
(Meaning my CSL DD is still working great!)
Also, when I connect my ClubSport Pedals V3 directly to my PC via USB cable, the accelerator pedal automatically stays depressed about 1%.
Connecting via an RJ12 cable through the CSL DD solves the problem!
Hope this helps.

I had some updates. In the end, It worked but i had to set manually the steering by the car specs. In the way is in your settings, the game crash to desktop.
Since im not using yet the booster kit to give more strenght, i had ffb in game at 100%. Its all good now with rf2.
Btw, when using in game ffb settings, the app Tell to load "CSL steering Wheel", If im not wrong.
But i did not find with this name and came up with a custom profile in game.
Well, i cant complain. Doesnt bother too much manually set steering Wheel degrees sugest by the car settings. Would be better If was automatic but i can play now.
Thanks for the help!

There are new Fanatec drivers V474 and Fanalab V2.01.74, may possibly help.
Shit, did not have time to play with the old ones that worked but have to assign manually the rotation range in game...
Hope this work without flaws or i Will have to search How to downgrade the firmware [facepalmemoji]
