I feel like racing these events, but, as usual, timing is not the best for me; maybe I could race second race of each event
Thanks TIG_green for your iniciative and reminder, and nascar2112 for setting server up; I have tested for a moment and mod downloaded fine, then just had to get one single track (out of rfactor) and I was in

nascar2112, could you name our meeting session on Sunday as "RookiesNight_Corvette CM". Also no password protection for that session so we can possibly recruit new people there If you can, you could keep it open the whole evening? I will join you 9 PM (my local time) for one hour.

There's 10 of us currently but few more would not hurt

Sign ups are open until the race day. By signing up here (just by posting and letting me know that you want in) you will get password to our events. Be part of this fun championship with gentlemen drivers.

 

We have a meeting session tonight, I'll be there 6 PM UTC time.

You can use this opportunity to get to know some of the drivers that are already singed up for the championship.

I hope to meet also some new drivers there, see you on track!

Got it. I will see this event was a bit tight on the preparations for the SCES endurance event I participate in. A bit burned out but will see if I can manage get things decently under control to tomorrow. The tires we run in the endurance series is entirely different and have never driven pokehoke before so will see.

 

Maybe you can manage 20 min races after long endurance races

I think most of us haven't had time to practice either, usually 20 mins practice is enough for me to learn a new track decently. Pukekohe is a nice track, I believe you like it

Not familiar with endurance series tyres but you should be able to push pretty hard during 20 min races with default tyres.

 

Any last minute sign ups. First event of our championship is starting in 4 hours.

 

That is the thing. I find it virtually impossible to learn to drive a new track fast so will see. But then I am no fast Finn

I will see how it feels if I can limp around the track without messing things up for others to much I will be there

 

Holy ****, i have a black screen in cockpit. Normally when going to single race (where it's ok) and back to online solved this problem but not today. In single race everything was ok but not in online.

4 hour time to do fresh install...

 

Hmm...uninstalled, whole rfactor2 directory deleted and fresh install done with content installer package. Now black sceen in both single and online...

 

Try disabling FXAA. Try AA instead. If that does not help. Try disabling HDR. If sitll not fixed, try to disable everything (HDR, AA, etc) in config popup en try enable them from ingame menu.
