It's like being immortal, under the correct situations you die
Grafical side will be done later when we will include 2016 version of C7r. Right now its more important for physics.
This is a fun little video we made during some tests. The real onboard is an Aston Martin but it is a WEC GTE car from 2015.
I had first no intentions to make such a video but I compared the videos of our testers (thx Daniel Almeida) to some Youtube vids and thought it would be fun to make it.
I'd also like to add that using TC at least on low-agressive (check tuning menu) with this car is recommended, especially on long stints.
This is such a massive step in the right direction in my opinion. I can't wait to try out the rest of the cars once they are updated. The most I've enjoyed driving a GT car in rF2.
Well done! Maybe just a minor issue: the virtual center mirror and the lcd shows wrong part of the car. Seems to be the front of the car is shown?
I unistalled the Mod and installed it new, seems ok now.
Thank you URD, very nice!
One question, does it make sense to activate/use the new TC adjustment in the setup menu.
Great! Does it means driving in the rain is now possible?
Absolutely. The car is great to drive in wet conditions with rain tires.
Can confirm it's a lot of fun in the rain.
if i try to install i get failed verification? steam here
+1 You have nailed it in terms of authentic feeling cars!!! So please, go forth and update the rest of the series based on this physics modelling!
And the sounds are also fantastic and high quality.
I know you don't want graphics feedback now, nor will there be any shortage of people to advise you, but I have one request for the series: could we have a proper bonnet-level bonnet cam (rather than roof-level like it is now)? The bumper cam is nice, but too low to be useable. I would recommend raising it, but at least it's called bumper cam, so it makes sense for it to be lower. But the roof-level bonnet cam is too high and too wide a FOV compared to the other views. I suggest using the ISI standard positioning. It would make all your mods more appealing to the majority who are used to or prefer the ISI-standard cam views.
And thanks!!! It appears the long wait for this update may have been worth it in the end. I hope the T5's will get the same treatment!
Corvette C6.r ZR1 2013 & C7R 2014/15 by UnitedRacingDesign May 5th 2016
Congratulations to David absolutly top work[emoji41][emoji106] Main reason why I don't like the car to drive in the past was the predictable (IMO wrong) behavior in some situations.
This is now completly gone and it made really fun to push the car.
The sound experience in this car is also top. The model was since the first release top notch.
Thank you URD and all other involved people for this great contribution.
Also Steam here.
Did you deinstall the old version first?
Maybe your file is corrupt, re-download may help then.
thanks TJones, yup the download was corrupt only 107mb re-downloaded and all fine now.....of to test
The overall feeling is much improved. The ffb is much better now. But two things. Firtly, the S9 tyres seems to be useless. They have not more grip than S6 or S7 but much more degradation. You would be really stupid to take these tyres for a race undepending of its length
2. The aero values are a bit off because u need the highest splitter setting and only wing 12 for a neutral car. Wing 18 is to high or splitter 2 to low to work together well balanced
Afaik CarStat2 isn`t capable to show TGM data. There are the tbc data (AI tire) shown only...
The S9 compund is ment for leagues which run only 1h races and want to spice up things with tire managment.
CarStat does indeed show some of the TGM values but not all to get a precise picture, but generally you can get an idea about the tires.
The aero setup values are adjusted to represent closer the values the cars use in real life.
Very big step.....i like it.....a lot.....job well done thnx
