[REL] Corsa Cup 2010

Hey everybody
This is my first preview for my first own selfmade CAR in state Aplha V0.1. After a several setbacks, I have already reached a state that I can release the car for a first preview and it can turn the first round in other hands.

I give the permission to Gijs van Elderen to modify and release the mod.

Edit: K3nny, here's my feedback

1. Force Feedback seems to be "Inverted". It feels exactly like when I switch on Inverted for the other cars

2. I had to manually change wheel rotation to 540 to make it right. Using "Vehicle Set" option did not work

3. The brakes send no feeling to wheel and it's like skidding on a very smooth surface, if you know what I mean.

Those are the main issues I encountered.

Thx for your feedback.
1. I don´t have the feeling that the ffb are inverted, with my wheel (Fanatec Gt3 RS V2) I have the same feeling like other cars, I don´t change the standard setting from Clio
2. When I change my setting (410°) to "Vehicle Set" it change to 900°
3. Hmm the settings of the brakes are the same the Clio have. But I take a look at that.

 

Not getting any tire sounds at all. No scrubs/skids or locking tire sounds. Haven't got my wheel hooked up yet so I can't comment FFB yet.

Very promising preview!

No problem here with reversed FFB (DFGT user) and no problem with "Vehicle set" rotation.

Graphics clearly need big work, but the physics (i see the similarities with the Clio, but i see also few differences) are great for a v0.1.

Looking forward to further development: having in game a competitor of the Clio is great!

 

Hmmm, OK. Strange how only me encountered the FFB issue. I'm using G25.

I have uninstalled and removed all Corsa related files, installed the new one but game is crashing when I go "Race"

 

??? I don´t know where the problem is, I have do the same like and downloaded the version I uploaded, because I have no other file like you and when I press race it´s working normal. Strange
Do you have any log data for me or something else. With the statement game crash I can not really work.

Some notes.

Not on Physics, as they have been mentioned so far, and I have not driven it much.

Now, I own one of these OPC style diesel (STOP MOCKING ME!!!) and have driven the full blown OPC version of it 180 or so`ish bhp.
it is only the power that is the difference, and some weight. But the drive is pretty much the same. So I will be following this one and see how it turns out.

one note to mention. It rides a bit high. It should perhaps lay a bit lower to be the track car version. (I assume it is to compete with the Clio, so, track car)

Anyways. For a one man show. Well done so far. Will be great to have more than one make in a series Keep at it man. You have my vote....(but I drive a diesel, so who cares )

However, it is still crashing when to go to race now. I checked but there are no log files sorry. Maybe it's an Rf2 bug.

Sorry for the long break, but I don´t find the time and motivation in this state, when I don´t know what I must do.
But today I had made an update and I hope you enjoy it.

Notes:
- Suspension update
- Some shader changes
- Tire update slick and wet

Known issus:
- HDR not really working, Motec Display not strong enough for example
- one LOD

This is a great mod!! Is there any news on updates, I think it would benefit a lot from different paint skins on the car
