Configuring Simsteering2

Hi,

I just installed r Factor 2 and it doesn't detect my SimSteering2 52 wheel.

I already:

-calibrated it in DIView.
- tried to go on "load" > and selected "Simsteering" on the config controls page.
- tried to follow the instructions from this page: https://forum.studio-397.com/index....controller-file-may-help-osw-users-too.55577/

Still, every time I try to assign "left" or "right" by moving the wheel nothing happens.
If I try to click "detect" I get a message "Unable to locate controller file".

Any help in appreciated.

Update: I tried again to follow the instructions from this page https://forum.studio-397.com/index....controller-file-may-help-osw-users-too.55577/

and when I click detect it detecs the Bodnar Simsteering.json but now actualy my cluth is controling the steering, and not the wheel. If I try to assign a control to turn left or right, by moving the wheel, nothing happens.

 

Turn the wheel all the way when assigning. You need to pass halfway for it to register.

 

Thanks! I tried and that did not work. Doesn’t matter how far I turn the wheel, still nothing.
