Config Error

Hi !!
Having issue rf2 (Json) fail to read file not valid json. this happen when i try to connect my wheel to game . how do i fix this issue

 

Delete Player.JSON
Program will create new one at start. Note: will kill all your settings! So save it first, so that you know what settings you had.
It´s not necesseraly the player.json, could also be the controller.JSON ------> same precidure here.

 

not understanding what you are saying ?? delete how.

 

Delete both player.json and controller.json.
They are files located within your rf2 install. Use search function if you have trouble finding them.

 

After you have deleted those two files and before you start the game, plug your wheel in and make sure it is detected in Windows Devices and Printers.
If it is detected start your game, if it isn't are the drivers installed for whatever wheel you have.

Follow up had to uninstall rf2 off pc to clear up error code. had delete rfactor 2 from pc to clear error code, issue now try get my wheel to reconnected to game. game tell me does see wheel i have fanatec wheel v2 base. put into pc mode said not connected. Thank you again for everyone help.(rf2 "controller not detected")
