As detailed, in the following thread (link), I created my own .veh files based on having 18 unique Corvette C6 race cars & 10 unique 370z race cars. To minimize my risk of online mismatch, and have the ability to assign pit groups (which cars share pit spots), I went ahead and instead installed these .veh files in their own folder version:
    • \C6R_2009\1.93_1\, instead of, \C6R_2009\1.93\
I went ahead and gave changed their description,
    • From: Description="Corvette C6.R GT2 #00"
    • To : Description="Corvette C6.R GT2_c #00"
In the component package manager, even though I selected 1.93_1, it showing me cars/teams matching the description of the 1.93 (base version) folder, due to the incorrect description being displayed. The component package manager can't tell the difference between vehicles in base version folder and the "newer" version folder.

Normally veh files belonging in the base version folder, will not show up since it's considered "outdated".

How can I edit the .rFM file without having Package Manager, adding the incorrect car entries & unnecessarily duplicating as seen below.

The post here (link), does not address this issue.

If I make any modifications to the mas file, without "re-installing" it with the Content Manager, the event will not show up in the game's menu.

The following is the .rFM file featuring the race details and such. In rFactor1 I could just paste it in the relevant folder and be done with it.

The following 2 files contain the veh files, which I'm certain won't cause any online mismatch and such, as you can easily delete the folder when done.

What do I put as the track filter and vehicle filter ?
    Code:
    Track Filter = *
    Vehicle Filter = *

I know asterisk means permit all, which is not what I want.

Edit: Well according to this link, it does nothing.

Edit: Deleting the \c6r\1.93 and \370z\1.93 folder, permitted all the desired teams to show in the package manager, and in game as well. Restarting rF2, by closing the rF2 launcher, should re-download the 1.93 files.
