Had a few hours spare so made a little promo video for my series. It's a little early as the season isn't due to start until next month (Current season nearing its end, all still welcome). I hope you like (Oh and all footage is from our events.....online is NOT dead )
That looks beautiful. The only things that need to go are the fake lightrays shooting out of the trackside lights. Why are there "fake" lights in a modern video-game? Weren't we done with that stuff like 10 years ago?
A hot lap around Mid Ohio in preparation of our league Round 1 this Sunday. TC and ABS High Looks very nice in low sun (5.30pm)
Williams Martini Racing, Formula 1 2014 V6 Hybrid car at Brazil GP, Interlagos. While driving in dry conditions suddenly started raining. One lap under wet conditions too
I watched that entire vid, wow! You're drivingreally shows a great understanding of car-balance technique. I really enjoyed watching you drive. P.S. The part-throttle and off-throttle sounds are so weak and quiet; the car sounds much too muted and simple regardless of revs - even at high revs - unless you're at full-throttle. For some reason, 90% of sim cars are like this (rfactor, iRacing, etc.). It drives me mental, lol.
This is why I don't even bother with variable weather in rF2: - first the grip drops and there is some strange smoke coming from tires (supposed to be water spray, but doesn't look anywhere like it) - then road starts to get wet (hardly noticeable at first, before it gets very wet) - then it starts to rain (also hardly noticeable, but it's there) - then the clouds come Well, does that sound like written in reverse order or what? Hopefully ISI can get it right one day, but for now changeable weather is just not what it should be. I know some people enjoy dynamic weather in rF2, but I don't think that the point of dynamic weather is "whoooa! game just messed up my lap all of a sudden and then I realized it was raining". That's definitely not the point. I sometimes set weather to rainy, but never use changing weather conditions, because it brings this complex simulation down to random number generator software
