Man that's some great driving baron Great vid, loved it, shows our sim at its best ..bet you loved those laps
I was just about to post this video haha. I was going to call it something like "This RFactor 2 60s F1 video puts 60s F1 cars from other sims, including new ones, to shame". It honestly does. I said it before and I'll say it again, when a real good driver is behind the wheel then something can be seen in the RF2 physics, the way the cars are driven, that no other sim can match. Sometimes bad driving can bring out certain things that don't look good with regards to physics, but when the driver is top notch like in this video I think it then honestly does show RFactor 2's current superiority in the industry with regards to pure vehicle dynamics. It's just too bad so many people can't see this and have other priorities in what they expect from a sim and in how a car acts/reacts when really driving hard but properly. I honestly say that with no "fanboy-ism" at all. I'm not saying RFactor is perfect, but when a properly skilled driver gets behind the wheel, one who knows how to approach the car's limits with proper feel, technique and anticipation of car actions/reactions, then I think RFactor 2 truly does have the best vehicle dynamics model in the industry.
A few laps against AI with Spark F1 at modern Spa. Amazing combo. Struggled at first but fought back to reunite with field and even pass a car or two but made a mistake or two and fell back again. Ending up cooking my tires trying to claw my way back and is interesting to watch the car defy the push to make up time instead of waiting for tires to recover. Edit - Live onboard...
A Corvette run on green Portugal with cold tires. First run wif SST and default setup. Too much lock tho. Pls mind the bad driving.
