It is sort of what the end looked like hehehe, we were doing donuts in pits and Clockit's
rears grabbed me on front wheel or suspension somehow and just back flipped me up there lol.

Actually was amazing the way the grip and friction worked.

Yesterday I did a spot on 720 jumping from the river bed and landed past the dirt access road like evel knievel ... ( on a good day ) lopl

Best I ever achieved before was 360-480 degrees nigh on 3 years trying every now and then.

Things like that amaze me, for instance AC pCARS and the rest crash and tumbles for the most part are much the same
Donuts and burnouts well how can I put it about as boring as watching paint dry, there is no life to it.

iRacing, the crashes I see in that are more fanciful then most, never really seen a decent burnout in it.

rFactor2 is just so different and variable in these regards ...simply amazing

Sure people will say what does it matter who wants to crash or do donuts.

DSR 4.0 ( Dynamic Supa' Resolution ) lol


Enable DSR in Nvidia globally via control panel ( select 4.0 ) any Inspector profile will then automatically use it )

Any sim you want to try ( GTR/GTL/rF/FT/GSC/ rF2 etc etc ) re-run their 3D Config.exe's and select 3840x2160 resolution.

Boot up, snap away

Warning: DSR may cause lower framerates. ( ya don't say ! ) lmao




Gives you an idea though what a 4K monitor would be like in relative performance and screen vision.

BTW: you do not need to use any of that " game ready game experience " crap comes with the drivers for it to work.

Well, i run rFactor2 maxed out on 2560X1440 and my titan barerly manages, how do you get your PC to keep up to such resolution?

It is like going back to GTR2 at 1920 and running 100 cars with a Athlon and 7800GT or 9800GTX .... ( used to be a slideshow ) lool


As I said in other thread less demanding ISI titles work fine.

My settings are turned down here and there, not agreat deal, no HDR obviously as shot shows drop 16x to 8x no full shadows
a few other stuff.

I was getting about 25% of normal framerate at monza started a race with those skins at 45fps

dropped to 40 and low 30s and stayed there, noticeable input lag , and slight slow-mo stutter at certain places. the 20FPS in fraps you see is from long zoom trackcam, incar was a little better.

No where near playable ............don't mean you cant do screens with it.

 

Its easy to setup up mate click that new DSR tab you work it out.

Then treat any 3dconfig as 3840 x2160 ( will appear in menu )


you can also pick 1/4 rate and 1/2 rate but even DSR2.0 is way too heavy for a puny GTX670 ......just for screenies.


Warning don't run games in " windowed mode"

lmao rF2 when it booted all I saw was a little square of the menu ie: 1/4 of normal screen but at 1024x768 ie: blown up to 4K ..........start page in my face ....no buttons to click ............hugggeeee race icon just huggeee !

Remember when me and LS had 2048 monitors and used to do GPL screenies.

I had the mad idea back then , I used to blow those up again. so basically a little bigger then 4K. They were huge looking but you stood back a bit looked great

Anyway I had crazy idea .....Print them out on high quality paper and frame them. lol


Have a online shop for consignment only, doing a shot for someone won a comp, or private skins, or their favorite moment in Motorsport , etc. from replays or custom made. Screeners, editors and print-shop all online sent for framing and delivery.

Not many can print out that res and quality prints let alone frame them let alone run that
resolution, that case a screener with high end tower gets the job to do from replay or new,
sends on to editor then on to printshop.

You could make some nice ones now ( not with GPL but ..... lol ) is all I thinking with proper 4K .....daft idea. ?
