with the super formula Renault just out, now a new track & car coming it's all to much!

good job it's bank holidays this weekend (in England )

 

Spent a year trying to independently license things, then someone I know at IMS, who had got my foot in the door at the Speedway, suggested I contact IndyCar. Have to say, IMS and IndyCar were the nicest people I have licensed from. By licensing IndyCar Series teams, we're an official IndyCar game, with liveries, sponsors, etc, including the tires, the Indy 500 name, etc. I could only manage two teams though (KV for Chevy, BHA for Honda), others were out of reach. Tracks are not included, either, in the license. IMS came by itself. We do have some look-a-like cars in as opponents.

Hopefully it makes sense why I would license one team from each engine. The car is the same, the engine isn't. What's interesting there is that one engine might be better than the other on certain tracks, but it also might suit a particular driver more or less on different tracks.

 

Memorial weekend here as well. Most people should have Monday off. I won't feel too bad if we end up having to release Sunday.

Just a few things here and there that will take it overnight tonight, but I expected that. I'd still say not to bet all money on it coming Saturday, but that is what is hoped. I don't want the guys to kill themselves though, they've been doing that for about two months anyway (Indy in particular was about 2.5-3 tracks worth of work with the back and forth stuff on the new roadcourse).

I'm sure it will be worth the wait with all the configs that are coming, so don't bust a gut, I think this will be the most comprehensive & up to date Indianapolis package available

we can watch the Indy then enjoy the simulated version in rfactor 2 after.

the formula Renault I think is more than keeping everyone (that's after new content) going including me
& also nice as it was unexpected until very recently

Pictures in game with Gladiator HDR

 

You won't see me comment much on graphics as I am more interested in feel but I have to say those shots are the best I've seen anywhere in any sim. Nice job. Where do you get this Gladiator HDR. Googled it but didn't come up with anything.

The screeshot look very very good, there is no aliasing at all. What setting are you using?? Can i have same quality in game?? I have a 680 gtx 4gb and with max setting, 8x masa, fxaa i have very pixellated white lines, if i set set Texture Sharpening="0" i have similar resoult, but not so good and i have some mipmapping issue...
