I'm sorry for abusing this thread but it seems I have no luck with my post in the modding forums.

I'm looking for a useful tutorial for PS CS2. I'm a total beginner. All the videos I found on YT are either done by 12 year old kids with screaming voices or they just don't help me a lot.
So if anyone has a link I would really appreciate it.

Basically what I want to know is how to paint different parts of the car without affecting other parts. That's really all I need to know for a start.

Use new layers and pen tool to fill the part you want to paint. I personally usually use pen tool and its probably most common one. I even use brush with pen tool.
Make new layer, use pen tool and you can move, add or take points away, curve it as you want. Than go to "paths" right lick on "work paths" and use eather "fill path" with colors you want or "stroke path" there you even have more options on that but i barelly use second option these days.
But allways use new layers for different parts, shapes, colors to do them on top of some other ones or under them. Sort them into groups to livery designs or sponsors so you will have better overview on everything if fixing/updating is needed.
