Community Screenshots Thread (Unedited Screens Only)

For some of these cars I had physics for, but I don't think anyone cares at all about it. It is still nice to see screenshots, shaders game getting better and better, still needs little more care here and there, but they does start looking pretty good. I think it is also majorly important that all of them gets the right wheels, but I think nobody cares about that as well because standards of simracers are as low as

Thank you wait till you drive it, I hope you will. That also is gloriously natural.

The materials on car are still majorly Lings work. Although I did replace and adjust several details and it is not final, I have some issues with IBL materials for tires and rims, so I use older mats.

I don't have VR, but I do hope it will be all good with it, this should be very good car for VR.

How do you do the shutter speed( panning)?

Chrome is too 'bright': ie. even when in the shade, it shines (caps on other cars' wheels, windshields, ... all have that issue*).
I believe that you are doing 'god's work' but it should be possible to keep the same parameters throughout all cars on those very specific materials, no?
And... have you rebalanced the shaders on Longford? Those bricks look brilliant and those textures with some upscaling would look brilliant, even if not PBR.

* From memory, I believe that @Chris Lesperance had issues with the ModDev and Game chromes looking different, so perhaps he could help on that specific point on how much tweaking you need to do.

could you give me a example of how you think the chrome should look ?
Longford all ways looks good.

About Longford: how come? What version of rF2 are you running? Longford is washed out / too bright, with no depth in the textures (apart from the lower-res). Just a retune like the one S397 did for Toban would be amazing (one of the tracks has the materials' override file which could be replicated if the textures were easily identifiable by its names).

Hopefully not placebo effect, but it looks really nice... but I don't understand how these old tracks look so much better in your photos...
its the same chrome texture settings (but i had my monitor settings wrong before)
pc is windows 10 iot ltsc
nvidia driver is 552.44
rfactor 2 is v1132 (working Ai)
dont know if that make any difference.

Then it's the light that is more subdued and does not make it as evident.

Hello ling,
these are wonderful pictures of wonderful cars. :p
But when and where can I download these cars?
Please don't get me wrong, I don't want to exert any pressure here. ;)
But it's like sitting in front of a table laid with the best delicacies but not being allowed to eat. :(
