This is a really nice shot, but it points out a problem i've pointed out to Christopher before - which is that rF2 badly needs option to change Depth of Field/camera focal length (whether you are using track side cam or free move cam)

Current post processing settings lock the camera focus exactly at mid point on med/high/ultra post processing, and if you try to line up any shots using free move cam, everything turns into a bloody blurry mess. It basically renders the Med/high/Ultra post processing modes useless if you want to take any shots beyond the default track side cam. Combined that with the fact that most rf2 tracks have horrendous trackside cams placement (including s397 dlc tracks), it's very frustrating.

Map a few camera-movement keys, then you can move the camera away or closer to suit the zoom/DOF... Just a little work-around... It could be nice if you would be able to control the focus otherwise, of course...

It doesn't help. I already do that, but the focus is based on the original track side cam you enter "free cam" mode from. Like Lemans for example, at Ford chicane, the track side cam is like 2000 meters from actual ford chicane, it's way off in the distance.
So when you change to free cam mode, and spend 5 minutes moving the camera to the perfect spot to get a nice close up shot of the car going over the curbs, you find the focus is instead way off in to the distance because the original track side cam focus is very long.

New trees tech going on in Road Atlanta too, nice. I like it, although I have a bit of feeling that currently in standard settings they look too dark in ambient lighting shade. It is interesting how some translucency of leaves is faked, around the silhouette of them, but it being very bright and ambiend shading very dark makes them look wrong, and also same is true for shadows that are rendered on them. I think it would be best if shadows of trees wouldn't be rendered on other trees, maybe... Anyway, just an opinion. Looking forward for it. And also looking forward to Nordschleife too. Perhaps even tree walls will be good :D

I also wonder what Reiza is up to about their pack getting updated, I wish it wasn't only rumours, they have a tendency to do flawless stuff.

Anyway, sorry for offtopic, have no screenshot to share... or perhaps I have though, gotta check...

Far from PBR, far from proper, still something, yeah I know how to sell...
