I see the S397 paint team are getting more adventurous! (Blue chrome) if you hadn't notice..
Must have hired someone new with a little bit off talent.
I know a guy how can help S397 with that, the nickname is D.Painter...
I wasn't able to get that to work from your thread on color chrome. Hopefully this will be an option to easily apply
Why aren't you making your hobby your profession? Might sound wierd, but I think you have everything that is needed to become a 2D artist. The only thing you would have to work on is to be a bit more diplomatic
Your not alone , there are a few who have the same trouble.
A easier way that I've discovered is just to do it the old fashion way. Instead of using the Alpha just use the white region. White is full chrome. Grey scale will reduce it. The color will get stronger the darker the grey.
You can use the Alpha still but you "need" to use Alpha on the region DDS. I know the old story about S387's tutorial says not to but that's crap. All my cars have Alpha on the region, without it I wouldn't get the same effects I've been getting.
In fact that's possibly why your attempts have failed. You need the Alpha on the region but if your following the S397 tutorial in this respect it want work.
is this livery public?
Unfortunately died in lags during day-to night transition. W8ting for rtx 3080
