Hi Marius, Hi Hocician,
How can you post such of these great pictures please ? I have a new PC with great hardaware but I cannot achieve these great images from rF2, honestly I am not aware how can do it anyway
I am a newbie and I’d like to learn as much as possible.
Hey Lynx, in my case (!) i set everything at ultra settings just for the screenshots! Its driveable but not on every track with my setup... ultrawide (3440x1080). when i drive with oculus i have to lower the settings!
The screenshots look so "good" (i think this is what you mean) because of the DOF (depth of field) ... something you dont have when you drive from cockpit or watch the replay without taking care of it... you have to move the cam and use the zoom function to archieve this look...
Thanks a lot for the advice. I did not aware about DOF, I will try not to zoom to try to achieve that .
Thanks a lot
Depth of Field was introduced with the PP settings. Bascially the Ultra level produces the most effect but also hammers the fps.
Some hints I've seen here, stage your race at sunup or sundown. It produces long shadows and sun angles. Use the free look camera to get closer, I'm not sure how that one works tho.

This is also "EDITED SCREENSHOTS ONLY" sections so they should be edited post game. Thats why some look Amazing while not being able to achieve it in the sim. The other thread with "UNEDITED" is clean rF2 images.
