If you pause at 35secs you'll see it does go up, i was seeing it straight at other point in the video but it's just the low light and angles playing tricks.

Edit: I just realised you may be talking about the version we have with straight diffuser

As far as I have understood, its the same chassis since 2005. It was 2005-2009 7.0L LS7.R V8 GT1 car and 2009- GT2, 2010 they changed the engine from 6L to 5.5L V8.
Only way I can tell em apart is from the sticker in the rear saying "GT1" etc... and the rear diffuser.

The ALMS version changed the rear-end in 2011. It was just like ISI's version until 2010, even after the 2 classes have become only "GT". Since 2011 it's like this:

This pic shows quite a nice skin I`d like to try and do...

Anybody got any more pics of it and maybe some info so I could search for pics etc of the car myself?

    :)

Put this gallery together for you, should be all you need and then some! Not any better shots of the rear i can find but you can see the way borders are used between the silver and black in the close-ups.

Ps. save the images as i'll need to delete them asap  and some of the images you need to click again to get full size

    Excellent!

Many thanks Hectari, very much appreciate that.

Would you know the name of the team? I seem to be struggling to find actual team names for the vette`s for some reason which is stalling my research...

    lol yeh... :p

It`s funny though as I`ve noticed similar names on other vette`s and thought that would be the team name etc but when I googled it came up with very little...

Anyhow, I appreciate the info Flaux. :)

I was trying to tweak the car setup here and find something very intriguing.

ISI's and Corvette Racing websites, are saying that the C6.R GT2 delivers 470hp @ 4800rpm.

So, why the car is working near 6500rpm? Am I misunderstanding something or maybe it has engine specs like the GT1 version (638hp @ 6500 rpm)?

It has a wide power band. It has it's peak at 4.800 rpm but after that it doesn't lose the power. It's stays like that all the way up to around 6.000 - 6.500 rpm...

OK so to make it clear, here is the engine map from ISI's C6R.

Aaaaaand to make it even better,... here is a gorgeous video of it rumbling around Le Mans. First in slow speeds and then full throttle. Best Vette onboard I've seen so far.

Your attachment doesn't seem to appear.

Judging by specs ISI's corvette seems to be using the 2012 spec engine.

You're confusing peak power and rev limit which are two totally different things.
