I'm a complete noob when it comes to anything mod related, but I'm willing to learn as much as possible and I don't care how long it takes. I want to create a drift mod for rf2,because I know nothing this is obviously going to be a long term hobby so to say,is it even possible to change the tyre behaviour in rf2,or is it locked. Does anyone have any links to useful info,or tutorials,to start with I just want to experiment on an existing car. Am I being totally unrealistic,is this too much of a dark art for people who have no background in programming etc. Any help would be appreciated, like I said,I want to learn and because I want modding to one of my hobbies, time isn't really a factor
Why double post? In dev corner there should be a document regarding ttool and tyre modding. You should learn working with the tyre tool. First step could be changing things in the real-time section of .tgm (tyre file). Install a test car in devmode and open the .tgm with notepad.
I already made a drift mod for RF2,the Supra from RF1 by Niels and Meihan Sportsland Circuit, they are in the download section More goodies to come hehe
It kept timing out on me,didn't realise the one in the general section actually posted,17 seconds it kept saying lol
Ahhhhh your the man,I've searched everywhere in google for rf2 drift mod,but it's always for rf1. Thanks for the link, will be having a lot of fun with this
