[WIP] CART Factor

    We are in the process of bringing the previously well known "CART Factor" mod to rFactor 2!

    Cars included:
    Reynard 98i
    Swift 009.c
    Penske PC27-98
    Lola T98/00

    The majority of the porting, 3D model updates, and animation work is being handled by pay2021

    We have started a google document that is open to the public to make any comments if you can assist.

    This mod is based on Racing Line Developments' "CART Factor"

    Thanks to the CART Factor team, Dann, and pay2021, and anyone else involved :)
    I enjoyed this in rF1, and look forward to doing the same in rF2

    Yes absolutely! This is why we need to be patient as we work to get it as accurate as possible.
    We have the mod fully in RF2 as of today, now we need to tweak it all to perfection. :)

    I heard of this earlier but now that I see the post today I'm even happier. I can't believe Nick and Dave gave permission, that's awesome. You guys will have a lot to live up to, haha :p.
    I presume it could be a mix of both track used and computer graphical settings, but the alpha layer looks a bit too bright and the textures don't seem as sharp. Best of luck and skill completing this, and thanks :).

    Just hope you guys make use of the latest contact patch model. Especially oval-racing would benefit a lot from it.

    Fair play to RLD giving permission; this was THE mod for rF1 for me :) Best of luck with this, and take your time and do it the justice for rF2 it deserves ;)

    Not to sound rude - is it possible to max settings when you take screenshots to present new mod? Just for that time?)
    I believe its awesome to drive etc but those screenshots doesnt look any good for rF2 quality.

    My main gripe with RF2 is the lack of ovals with work like this being done the Oval tracks will follow. I really can't wait for this :D

    I would love to but my pc cannot do that. If I cranked up rF2 graphics it would be 1 frame per minute, if it worked at all.

    Guys, we can use all the help we can get with this mod. Like you, we want it to be a worthy port which means quality, quality and more quality. So if you can help or know someone who can then please don't hesitate to do your part about brining CART to rF2.
