Fantastic work sofar. Are you planning to do the road configs later on or just the speedway config for now? If you need some info on the different drivers and liveries, there is a nice website with the paint schemes for the Indy 500 throughout the different years:

Incredible, how fast you model those cars. Btw, it might be very nitpicky, but from the last link that I posted you can see that different teams used different mounts for the rear wings and the little endplates on the front wings were variable aswell. Might be something to consider to spice up the things a little bit. Anyway, great progress so far and I hope you find someone to help you on the physics side of things. Maybe @Devin or @Navigator can help you.
