I'll start working on Scott Brayton

@ChiefWiggum , will you be modelling secret compartments where John Paul Jr and Randy Lanier can smuggle weed? :p

JoeP1 I looked around on some of the photo albums Chris shared and I couldn't find much. Some albums have just STP on the front wing endplate and GoodYear where that Mechai logo is. If you can't find anything, I would just leave the STP logo there.

I think it is a "Otter Pops" logo, something like this.....

Working on Brayton. Almost finished actually. Does anyone know what is on the front wing? I saw a lot of the Indy photos had the Hardee's fast food logo on the rear wing and sides, so I added those. Lastly, anyone have photos of Brayton's road version? I found two photos, but it's clearly the 1984 paint scheme.

Thanks Chief. Brayton's liveries definitely were not consistent from race to race. The top pic looks like the '84 livery on the '85 car.
I think I'm going to leave the front wings blank and compensate with the cool Hardee's logos on the RW and sides to make the livery look fuller and more complete. Without them it's pretty bare.

EDIT: Here's a WIP. Hardee's logo, yay or nay?

I found the 1986 Josele Garza and it's more legible. It says Mechel. The little one on the front wing looks like Otter Pops, as Chief said.

@Chief: drivin in VR and looking down the front of my car there is no suspension visible - so wheels are not connectetd to the body. Opponents have suspension when I look at them next to me from cockpitview. Thanks.

Also the mirrors. You see only the picture of the mirrors floating in the air - no casing

Thanks for the help guys, I'm back at my pc after a 4 day trip. The "Mechel" logo looks like a little work.

I got the #21 Johnny Rutherford car done enough that I'm happy with, both in Indy and Road course trims

Chris, about the PBR Shaders, and the not showing chrome, is that something can be enabled within RF 2, or something yet to be done by Chief etc. ?

That is a Chief thing. It's different materials on the 3D model.

Here are the completed road/indy versions for Scott Brayton.
I left out the 'van kirk' on the indy front wing because I couldn't figure out the rest of the text and it wasn't there on the other oval races. The road version I based on reviewing all the 1985 races and the VERY FEW times Brayton's orange and red car appeared.

Chris, I'm attaching the Brayton DDS templates for you.

Chief, I can also confirm the missing suspension/mirrors in VR. Also, let us know when you have the Lola template ready to go!
