[REL] CarStat 2.3 - A Question Of Setup

Well, then here is a new version to fix this bug, which was caused by malformed data in the mod, but also other fixes.

@Tamas Vargyasi Thank you for the info. But next time please say which mod you were using (name is enough for me to find it), as I was just about able to make the educated guess that this was the FSR F1 2018 (or 2016) mod (v2.3.0 was tested with 2017, so it worked fine before). I hope I was able to fix the issue.

-Added Search bar to VEHSelector
-Changed in SetupManager the Date Column formate to year.month.day
-Fixed pressing the ExpandAll button in VEHSelector crashing CarStat
-Fixed CarStat being crashed when opening an encrypted mod with non encrypted only mode (default) enabled
-Fixed Wheelbase Display
-Fixed FSR 2016 and 2018 mods breaking CarStat through malformed data
-Fixed more missing data will now be accepted without asking for filler data
-Fixed that if no data was filled it will say "No Data" instead of "Loading..."

I downloaded the latest version of CS, and worked, it seems you did a great job. Also can confirm that the GT3 pack and the formula E series can`t be open. Thank you for your effort.

I can't seem to open the new March 761 and Brabham BT44b. Works great on everything else I've tried. I'm using the version 2.3.2.
 
So, I found a few more minor things to fix, besides making the Brabham 44 and the March work again

You can get 'some' data from data tracking while driving using Motec. But Carstat, I believe, cannot access the cars you mentioned because S397 has scrambled those files to protect them from piracy. Pretty much every car that will or is purchased will be in a similar situation.
 
Hi, does this work with automobilista? I ask because it still works great with rFactor1. I just tried a few AMS cars but the software just hung.

Also how do I reset the software so it asks me what sim to use - like it did the first time I used it?

question regarding the setup tab, would it be possible to implement the displayed downforce and drag values based on ride height graphs? or simply improve (i know probs not easy) the displayed values?

working from the HDV and trying each setting on its own is quite time consuming :p

other than that thanks for the work on this :)
 
I supose it doesn't work with pay content, right? I would like to know weight, optimal tires/engine/brakes temps and max rpm from GT3 Pack cars, but I don't know if it is possible due to cars encryption.
 
Why doesn't carstat work for studio dlcs? that information is very important ... but someone tell me where I can get it from ... thanks

El mod esta encriptado y carstats no puede acceder a los ficheros. Me parece que a no ser que Studio publique la info...

The mod is encrypted, so carstat can't get and read the files. Studio-397 should provide all car stats.
