@trollray Where did you source your Detroit from? Reason I ask is I built the original Detroit Street Circuit in the early 2000's (02, 03, maybe? I think it was for F12002). I was just curious if the bones of that beast have lived this long.
@Ninja Penguin , it's from carrera4 original mod. He was alone to make it from scratch. He is a legend if you ask me I "just" push his work to benefit from new tech.
Yesterday, we've had a race @ Jerez 1986 with our league and we have 2 feedbacks: -The track and other textures are a bit too dark when the weather is very cloudy => -When raining, there is a bug under all advertize bridges => we expect no humidity overthere but it's the exact contrary, it's 100% wet under covered parts. Btw, a big thank you for all the efforts on this trackpack, it's great!
@Arnaud Plume Hi, thanks for using my work and giving feedback. Very nice to see people using it in a league. That said, i've just tested and Jerez have no problem about wet portions under advertizements imho. In fact, the adverts are high and of course, water from rain fall is growing naturally like the rest of the track. I thought you where experiencing something like a 100% wet part only under adverts but it's not the case. Just that rain is also affecting road under the adverts. But as i said, adverts are thin and high so, with a little wind, rain droplets will certainly fall down everywhere, even under the adverts. Nothing wrong to me. If you have another problem, then maybe it's a shader problem and you need to delete the cbash folder. I had this after creating the new road meshes. For the darkness of the textures, i have used some pics of the 1986 jerez but can be a bit less dark maybe. I will have a look Anyway thanks for the feedback and happy driving Cheers
We noticed that the 1986 hockenheim has this problem on the tracklimits so that kink on tracklimits means when you exit the pits you always get a lap disallowed when exiting the pits. so i think its the tracklimits being a problem. this is the pit exit
Some feedbacks about our last 2 races: Hockenheim: -Orange marshall are "poping", increase a little bit the Lod out. Hungaroring: -Yellow flags doesn't seems to work at all Again, thanks for all the hard work, it's a pleasure to race on those tracks!
can somebody explain what the hell is it? what happened to this AI driver on Detroit circuit? it's just one example...I had a lot similar dumb AI crashes on street circuits Monaco and Detroit. Is it some problem with track or with car or maybe with core of this game?
That is looking like an invisible wall or something with the track. It could be a car issue, with the collision model hitting the track. Based on the car working everywhere else and it isn't a super high aero load area, I'm thinking it is the track.
But it happens to AI only...and it happens only in Detroit and Monaco (although I still didn't check all other tracks). It seems it has something to do with the walls and barriers becuase when AI is very close to the wall such dumb incidents can happen. But when I drive my car through these places there's nothing happens to me. So it's strange. It's official Tatuus mod by S397
well... maybe because on the street circuits like Monaco and Detroit you should drive very close to the wall if you wanna be really fast and go to the limit. But as I said before it happens only to AI cars in certain places. It seems that it has something to do with the track's surface because I had the same problems with different mods. Also I found problem with Hockenheim circuit. it's unplayable because AI in second chicane crash badly into the tyre barriers and to each others. another example AI flies for no reason on Monaco
@trollray Detroit CART version (no final chicane)? Pretty please with lots of whipped cream and double cherry on top?
