[WIP] Car voting - What cars do you want to see in rFactor2?

Ferrari 312 PB 1972 and Ferrari 333 SP 1998 :)

Join SGS and/or CMS Discord. They also a fantastic 60's sportscar mod (edited images by @Morbo):

Someday I will do 1969 Ferrari 312PB. It is very different than 1972 car though. Definitely way less downforce, probably minimal downforce on its LeMans bodywork.

There is a guy in workshop who keeps commenting "do Cerrara GT". Jokes aside, I would be actually very interested about it. About as much as in Mclaren F1.

I know none of these are interesting for league driven rF2. But to me these are very interesting cars.
Yeah I don't know if I've ever seen 312P ('69) mod but it'd be really nice. The car is basically a wedge, and the last prototype to carry that design language from ferrari. Do you know if you would make the spyder or coupe version?

I think I have also never seen it in game. Maybe car was not successful enough IRL, thats why. I also like it a lot that it is one of the last of its kind.

I like the coupe version more, so I was modeling it. Although spyder probably was used more.

This is where I left it a long time ago, maybe will continue someday: https://imgur.com/a/ZbwHNv3

To me it looks very exciting to drive:

as i remember if you like F5000, maybe you can take a look at this 1975 USAC-SCCA F5000 simil-carset by @Chris Lesperance

Hey @Mauro and @Porsche962C

Mauro, sorry, RD/Overtake doesn't give me review notifications so I miss those. My other projects are slowing down a little bit, so I'll see if I can get updates done on this, this week. In the mean time, Porsche962c, the #5 Andretti car is part of Chief's base content for that 70's Style mod. It should give you an idea of how it handles until I get that full pack update done. I'm not anticipating it taking too long.

This one is also on my wishlist;)

Payware mods of Australian Historics

Never going to happen :(

I very much like aussie legends in rF2 / AC, would just like next level.

I'd love to see more SCCA classes represented. Grassroots events like the Runoffs has such history and produces such fun racing.

I'm with you there. Unlike the more professional series, these people are owner drivers of their cars. They actually use the sim for training. The other positive, is that depending on the car, they have the manuals and information on those cars and are willing to share. Having a driver see their car in game doesn't get old. It's one of those that having those cars in game actually helps real drivers. It's better than having 20 of the same F1 mods/models.

A side note with that, I am chatting with a couple guys and currently working on an F1000. Both reached out independently after I released the Swifts. I'm not spending much time on it. It'll essentially be a motor swapped 2016 USF2000. Initial feedback was really positive. I recently found the ASR Griiip G1. I might use some physics data from that. After a couple more tests, if things feel good, I'm looking at releasing it.

Personally, I would like to see a SCCA P1/P2/DSR. I think I mentioned the Elan DP02 earlier in this thread. My issue is that I am not a 3d modeler. I think the rebodied DP02 looks cool as heck! The stock version would be great too. I think I have a few contacts for information on the DP02, if a 3d model could be done. Side note, the Scott Tucker DSR would be pretty insane on the sim. Look up the Dinner with Racers - Level 5 Special if you haven't heard of it.
