[WIP] Car voting - What cars do you want to see in rFactor2?

Did you or anyone you know try the mod? I´d like to know if it´s good and accurate.
I bought GT86 and GR86. And also have opportunity to compare them to real vehicle

Short review:
- Sounds are very quiet. And not very good quality
- Feedback is very weak, but on GR it's a bit better and almost like real-life feeling (That isn't good for simracing)
- Cars seems to be very very slide-ish. You don't know when you have grip and when you will start loosing it. Very unpredictable
- Interior is like from 2015
- Exterior is a bit better, but there is no brand logos and feels very empty
- No livery templates in mas files also kind of cons for me

So not worth it for me at all

Thanks, an honest feedback is always appreciated!

I don't only want to see cars in rF2. I want to drive them, and I mean drive THEM, exactly them not something entirely else. Is that too evil to think about ? :D

But after having driven a lot of cars that I have made physics for, I would like to see most of them, with my physics, and then improve the physics further (I can see physics too) :D

I am considering to compile interesting photos of all cars that I have been doing physics for in past five years, just to have an illustration of what is on the table, almost all are very interesting cars. I would like to encourage other guys who were doing something, and achieving something with physics not to be too "demure" and "virtuous" and "boast" about it as well. Maybe it would even be good idea to have a tread dedicated for that (maybe there already is and I am unaware?). Maybe there will be people working on physics of same car, and sharing same level of passion and interest and would dare to discuss and hear some opposing ideas, as there eventually would be.

There definitely are several very capable physics guys around that are doing alternative physics for their own use, maybe for some league or something, or even building all new cars for themselves, maybe using some kind of placeholder models and sounds. But never talk about any of that, would it be because they just don't want to, or because it is just military grade secret, or because it doesn't feel safe to reveal.

As an example. I bet there is someone who has pretty well developed grid of group C monsters, using MakCorps cars as a placeholders, or even something else.

@woochoo gave me an opportunity and great motivation to grow into "art" and sometimes even "science" of creating cars physics, with 1967 and 1954 mods. Physically there are no limits for them to keep getting better, and more and more accurate, less and less just artistic interpretation, which they were at beginning and to my surprise it already pleased and satisfied needs for historic racecars of a lot of people (surely mainly because fantastic vibe and emotion of woochooverse). It is probably not very demure to go "me me" about it, how I spent at least 1500-2000 hours just test driving these cars, and double or triple of that while working with files and researching, or even just simply thinking about various details each night when going to sleep.

I bet there are physics creators out there who never was public at higher level than close group of some discord, or not even that. And they did the same, or more. Sure don't do "me me", guys, look at me I look bad now :D

Someday I will do 1969 Ferrari 312PB. It is very different than 1972 car though. Definitely way less downforce, probably minimal downforce on its LeMans bodywork.

There is a guy in workshop who keeps commenting "do Cerrara GT". Jokes aside, I would be actually very interested about it. About as much as in Mclaren F1.

I know none of these are interesting for league driven rF2. But to me these are very interesting cars.
