Is there a viewer out there that allows me to open DDS files so I can see edits without have to alt tab back into rFactor and reload the skin?
- Open rfactor2 in windowed mode. - Go to the garage (tuning) - select your alt.dds skin - open photoshop - make some adjustments - overwrite the alt.dds (wait a sec until it's saved) - click on "reload" in factor 2. - and preview you adjustments you have made. you can do this for your alt_body.dds and all alt_extra.dds files (window, rims, window banner) for the driver suit and the helmet.dds you need to go on track. Once you are happy with the result. - Make a alt.mas file from all your .dds files. So all .dds files will be transferred with custom skin sharing on multiplayer. - Make a Virtual ride af the car if you want to race against an AI driving that car. a tutorial: click here Have fun...
