I always missed a guide with information on how each car should be operated when gear shifting. This is my attempt to fullfill it, if anyone would like to collaborate (adding cars or just putting the info that belongs in each case, take it as a quiz game :p), please give me a call.

Perhaps a comment in the comments field about zero throttle? required on downshifts and >20% throttle for upshifts for the the official GT3’s and any others that are the same/similar.

Awesome Ive been wanting something like this for ages. I want to keep things as realistic as possible and the shifting part is crucial!

edit: As an example tho, I see the Cayman uses both paddles and stick shift?
Is this not limited to series? Or are teams free to use whatever?

in addition to this it would be great to be able to assign a specific shifter to a specific car. So for example a DTM 91 car could only be shifted with a h-pattern-shifter aso. Content manager from Assetto has this very cool function

You might be right tho, Im not sure how that works.
Ive seen GT3 Cup cars with both sequential shifters and paddles...
Wish we would that that kind of info ingame.

I think it will be better to set a gear shifting device on one field with paddles, stick or h shifter, and shifting behavior in other field.
