I have not driven rFactor2 in quite a few months and now I cannot login. I get the "Networking Error" message in red at Sign In.
I did some research and now I am confused...
    I have a lifetime subscription.
Do I need to re-download and install thru Steam?
Is my lifetime subscription still valid?

I would like to drive the sim I paid for.
The only great sim that does not need all of the this bs is GPL. Just start it and go!

    Thanks for any help, Eric

rF2 is Steam only. Old installs will not work properly. The new physics, cars, tracks, etc. will only work and download via Steam.

Your old lifetime sub is still valid. You'll probably need the log in info.

Cars, Tracks, and mods are installed by subscribing via the workshop page. They are automatically downloaded and installed, and updated as needed when the game starts up.

This is the Studio 397 forum page. You can ask questions there. They are very helpful.

    Hope this helps.
