    Still can't connect.
If you can try to connect your PC directly to the modem (bypassing router) and see if somebody can connect then. So you will know where is the problem - some software setting or router.

Open a command line (Press Win-key + R-key, type cmd and hit the "ok" button).
Enter ipconfig in the cmd window and press enter.
Scroll to the top and find the "IPv4-Address" and the Standardgateway.
The IPv4-Address is the local IP-address of your computer. It should be something like 192.168.178.20
The Standardgateway is your router. It should be something like 192.168.178.1
To change the configuration (port forwarding, etc) of your router you can connect to it's web interface by entering the ip-address (192.168.178.1) in a webbrowser. A webpage of your router should open asking for credentials. Enter user name and password and you see the configuration menu. Now find the section for port forwarding.

I try a simple explanation: A client wants to make a connection to your server. He picks your server in the matchmaker and receives your WAN-IP (public IP) and the port from the matchmaker. The rF2 software connects to the WAN-IP and makes a request on that port. The router receives the request and checks a list (port forwarding list) what to do with a request on that port. In case there is no entry for that port the router will drop the request and nothing happens (NAT-firewall). If the port is in the list the router will check the destination for that port and send the request to the destination IP-address. This should be the local IP address of the computer that run the dedicated server (in my example 192.168.178.20).

For rFactor2 you should open three ports.
54347 TCP (for communication with the server)
54297 UDP (the data for the cars)
64297 TCP (this port is used to share vmods)

Sorry for any errors but English is not my native language.

Ok. Now, actually for the first time I could connect my router by typing my standardgateway. Put the ports have already been opened.

I have typed this kind of info to the routers NAT (list of NAT rules):

Application Protocol Source port Destination IP Destination port

    rfactor2 TCP+UDP 44297 192.168.xxx.1 44297

The example is for WAN Query Port (port number found from multiplayer.ini). I have done the same for WAN Join Port="54297" // range is 1025 - 65535, LAN Query Port="44297" // range is 1025 - 65535, LAN Join Port="54297 // range is 1025 - 65535.

"For rFactor2 you should open three ports.
54347 TCP (for communication with the server)
54297 UDP (the data for the cars)
64297 TCP (this port is used to share vmods)"

I believe that those are your port numbers? We do not supposed to have the same I believe?

Yes those are his port numbers, you should forward the ports that YOU have in the multiplayer.ini. Your ports can be the same as his but they can also be different.

Please try these port numbers on your machine and use the local ip of your computer and not the standard gateway (192.168.xxx.1).

To what do you refer with "these port number"? The ones that you gave me or the ones that I said I found from multiplayer.ini?

Application Protocol Source port Destination IP Destination port

    rfactor2 TCP+UDP 44297 192.168.xxx.1 44297

I have done the same with my local IP already.

Depends on what his gateway (router) IP is, gateway does not always have 192.168.xxx.1 IP.

There are at least 3 different IPs you have (if you have 1 network card):
    1) public or outside IP (the one you get if you go to the whatismyip website) - this doesn't matter in this case (you should not write it anywhere in your router)
    2) your router IP = your standard gateway IP - again this doesn't matter in this case (you should not write it anywhere in your router)
    3) your computer local IP - this is what you need to input in the NAT list

Just tested but no answer on port 54347 TCP.

BTW your public IP should be 91.154.xxx.xxx.
