    Hello fellow modders,

I'm fixing a mod wich has camera problems.
The cockpitview is completely misplaced. It's under de car.
But when I edit the lines in the CAM file, nothing changes.
I even replaced the CAM file with one from a similar mod, and still nothing changes.
The view stays exactly the same.

Does anyone have an idea what could cause this?

    Thanks in advance.

Do you do the changes in DevMode or do you
    unpack the MAS
    edit the CAM file
    pack again
    pack comp again
    try
    edit the CAM file
    pack again
    pack comp again
    try
    edit the CAM file
    pack again
    pack comp again
    try
    edit the CAM file
    pack again
    pack comp again
    try
    ...?

And you are sure that you've edited the right CAM-file that is assigned in the *.veh file from the car you are testing with? (Sorry, but i have to ask :))

Yes I am 100% sure of that. I even changed the name in the veh and the .CAM with copy/paste to make 100% sure.
    Thnx for reply.

Tonight I will, i'm not at my good pc right now. But the strange thing is that when I take a camfile from a mod that works, and i put it there, rename it. There is absolutely nothing changed.
While i don't expect it too be spot on ofcourse, something definitely should change.

Sometimes such things are caused by really simple reasons like, 2 files with same name but different content in same vehicles directory or similar things.
I guess posting what and where you've changed will not help in this case.

Would you upload/send me a downloadlink of the mod/car?

Edit the: Eyepoint=() line within the cockpitinfo.ini file, this sets where the camera is placed for the driver internal view.

    Thanks for the help everyone!
Turned out it was just a typo in the .veh file which i somehow didn't notice.
I feel so stupid right now :p.

Sometimes the biggest "error" sits in front of the computer. ;)

But the main thing is, that you've found it.
