Hi everyone!! I noticed now that the new Corvette update has no auto-blip anymore. When i'm using a wheel, i have no problems with this, but when i use my RumblePad 2 i get in huge trouble when braking and steering (Sebring's turn 17, for example), because of obvious reasons.... Is there any way of activating this feature again in this build?? Thanks in advance!
They removed it. It has nothing to do with the bulid number. It came with the last update of the Nissans an Corvettes. Only workaround: Don't use your rumblepad or manually blip the throttel with your pad
When i said build, i was referring to the latest release of the car... I asked because, the later model had no auto lift on upshifts, and it could be activated... Just thought it would be the same with the auto Blip.... Guess i'll have to leave the RumblePad alone...
Thats so weird because my noob friend was driving it the other day at Portugal, braking hard, downshifting too quick and too early - the car behaved and sounded like it was using auto-blip big time...
Both GTR GT1 and the C6.R GT2 dont have auto blip now. I dont know if there is any aid for it, check out aids, but if not, than it cannot be automated.
Hmmmm. I'm going to test, I thought my friend wasn't blipping himself, maybe I'm wrong. Maybe he had auto-clutch on. If auto-clutch is enabled, then it should still blip, correct?...
If you have auto-clutch "ON", you can set upshift auto-lift and downshift auto-blip to on or off manually by editing your player.json.
I tried the solution you proposed, and the Corvette keeps downshifting without throttle blipping.... Guess it is just for the cars with H pattern cars.... Looks like i will only use the Corvette with my wheel... But i think it wloud be easy for ISI to implement an auto blip and auto lift to the driving aids menu.... It makes more sense than having aids like steering help or something like that! Thanks alot
That's odd, I thought auto-lift and blip enabled in the player file would always work regardless of the auto-blip settings in the car's physics file. Did you enable auto-clutch??
Yep, i enabled auto clutch... That's the only way i can play with my RumblePad 2.... I think this options must be selected in the driver aids menu, instead of being indexed to each car and unchangeable... Because like this, the corvette is unplayable with a game pad....
