Cleared bash and shaders folder, started the game, everything runs ok.
Thanks. Ill try another clean installation and try changing the folders.Do you have multiple installs in the server?
I´ve made a fresh install to use b660 cause the auto updater in server was not working. Ive allways use diferent names in paths/plr´s etc for each server i make.
After that i changed all the usual paths (packages/data.path, etc) but was getting the join/greyed issue. Tried several things and by mistake i placed the rfmod in the original instalation (rfactor 2). So i have the rfmod both in rfactor_b660 instalation aswell as in rfactor 2 one.
All paths were correct, everything ok, but for some misterious reason it was not Reading the rfmod from the rfactor_660 instalation.
At least its working![]()
Where are those? I can't find them. Is it a recommended thing to do on every build?
Do you have a copy of MSVCR110.dll in your SysWOW64 folder? If not I think it could be that rF2 requires the 32bit runtimes, certainly the runtimes that the install/updater should do are 32bit and install that file to SysWOW64 rather than System32 which I assume is the 64bit version. have you tried installing the 32bit version from here?
I have downloaded and installed both 64 and 32 bit versions of the Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2012 Update 4 earlier with no luck. I did replace the MSVCR110.dll in the SysWOW64 folder with the one in the system 32 folder and now get this message when trying to launch:
Launch rFactor.exe - Application Error
The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b). Click OK to close the application.
OK, Here is what I did...
I looked in the SysWOW64 folder and found my MSVCR110.dll and MSVCP110.dll were named MSVCR110_clr400.dll and MSVCP110_clr400.dll ... I copied them moved them to my desktop renamed them correctly and put them back in the SysWOW64 folder and the UPDATE worked.
I hope this helps...

Hmmm interestingUpdated fine with auto-updater, after 2 hours of Karting on previous build we tested the 660 yesterday just after, and we notice changes in FFB feeling on Kart, a better feeling and a more progressive tire slides, not a huge change but, it's less hard to feel the lost of rear, better for us to place the karting on brakes and to master the power slides.
There is nothing in the change log, is our feeling right?
Id love 0.5 increments on the mip lod bias PLR option.
anther secret .ini setting
....what does this do please?
From the launcher hit the "Configure Sim" button and set it how you want. Then copy "<DataPath>\UserData\Config.ini" to "<Core>\ModDev\UserData\Config.ini". It would be really nice if rF Config would update both config.ini's at the same time or if DevMode and normal mode both used the same config.ini.
