So no one can help me pleassseee!

Thanks RJames for your help got it running.
I reinstalled the lite version and everything seems to be good thanks again for your suggestions.

1. I was just on the ISI server with the hondas and the skin transfer was not working .. the box's flashed for a while then went to black and no skins loaded .. is it turned off on the isi servers ?

2.Performance increase and smooth as silk nice job guys !

3. I didn't see it in the release notes but the "change car" within the game button has been removed? or is my install messed up?

Thanks ISI ;-)

Using Minimal UI I was able to change from Eve to Spark about 5 times in a row in F3 Rookies with no problems at all.

Got it installed now but verification says "Installed\Sounds\TMTires\1.0c\tmtires.mft failed verification." I assume that's not critical as it's a sound file. I'll just grab the one off my server if it passes verification.

Havent been near my pc yet so short question.. Has the greyed out join button issue been fixed? Saw in the technical forum a quite depressing statement that it hasnt?
Was fixed to usable state quite a while ago, the build BEFORE this one... Very occasional occurrences now.

Yeah it's off.

Well, only dropping a few lines here to thank Tim for his patience and to ISI for this new build.
So far it's the best build released, at least for me.
HDR works beatifully, I'm now using some graphic settings I was unable to use with previous builds.
Sure my new rig helps, and even my "limited" GTX650 is smiling...:)
Still need more tests in a full grid race, but this build is sure a step forward into a stable and definitive sim.
Sad that some are having that auto-updating issue...I prefer to backup packages and user settings, uninstall previous build completely and install a fresh rF2 lite...no issues this way.

Anyway: Repent, my friends, the end of the world is coming!..on...2014-06-15...05:05:000 UTC???

Graphic improvement I noticed was a smooth LOD for the crowds in the grandstand at Silverstone. Before the update, they'd rudely snap into place and now they're nicely blending in as you come down that back straight.

I experienced the C++ error while using the auto-updater, I solved this by uninstalling the C++ of the same year from Add/remove Programs and then running the C++ file I had previously spotted in My Documents/Rfactor2/Support/Runtimes, I then ran the auto-updater again.

I was shocked to find the framerate locked to the 60 "software" sync while lapping alone at Silverstone GP in the Formula ISI, using 1360x768 and pretty low graphics settings, as I am back using my old 8800 GTS 512 (7970 Matrix stops pc from powering up for more than a split second, the 7850OC has gone in my better half's pc). Maybe the "magic" 337.50 Nvidia drivers are helping here too. ;)

I used auto-update, no problems here.

Sky seems to be brighter than before which is good imo. I might just imagine it or not?

Shadow thing... likely since B590 but I skipped that one...

On the Skippy it's most noticeable, it has a black "blob" beneath it which I suppose is meant to be ambient occlusion... this "core shadow blob" blends badly with the extended "normal" car shadow, and it looks like two different layers on top of each other.

Not sure how realistic this is, I liked it better with B494, smoother blending of these two.
