Hey guys, I was holding onto build 1703 of windows until 2 days ago. The reason being I have had these massive freezes while playing the game in rift almost a year ago when I made the switch to 1709, so reverted to and stuck with 1703 until a few days ago . However , not willing to hold out any longer for reasons of securoty and patches , I decided to update to the latest build and noticed the issue had not gone away. Then someone asked to "alt-tab" once in game, which surprisingly resolved the issue. However, the problem is I have to do it every time I head out of the garage after escape. Alternatively, I can try to run the mirror in borderless mode to see if that resolves the issue completely without me having to alt tab every freakin time. So my question is: does borderless, windowed, fullscreen, etc. cause any lag in VR or it only causes such issues on monitors?
