I wasn't comparing wet and dry/slick tyre times. Wet tyres in wet conditions against wet tyres in dry conditions is what i meant. I've only been on wets on a drying track so i don't really know what they work like on a dry track compared to wet.
I was messing around looking at wear and the are on dry pavement get very hot very fast. I couldn't get them to deflate but on Joesville they were not happy and slid all over the place. You are right all the way- the rain does cool to tires significantly. I was on a drying track in a Vette recently and had to look for wet track off the racing line to cool the tires.
Tyre wear with Nissan 370Z in Kyalami after 30mins and 22 laps (did my best lap 1.19.9xx at 16th lap). Tyre wear was X7: View attachment 6372 Edit: would also like to tell that the game crashed once again when I was looking for laptimes in the pitscreen after the race. Because of that, my best laptime was not saved. I think this can be also track related bug, but it has been there for many builds and I'm sure that it has happened on more than just one track.
Not displayed when you are on the scoring monitor. Why it crashed when you don´t disable it, that´s the question to Max.
