Build 1080 - Water Spray messed up

Have you deleted (backed up) your player.json file and get the game to make it again on next restart.

Also delete the CBASH and the SHADER folders from here: rFactor 2\UserData\Log

As an aside... what do you expect with rain, I'd do some searches of real visibility in rain.... it is not great!!

I dont know how deleting log files can be a valid solution for the mass community over such an issue. Visibility is supposed to be low when lapping behind a car but not to a point where the spray is like a white wall like it is now. It was fine in previous builds.

I can completely understand the fact that the itensity would increase as the car goes quicker. But please, judge this video: https://youtu.be/tXp38tqs2xQ?t=1m45s
And please only focus on the spray coming from the car in (relatively) low speed corners.

Now, please compare it with this (T6 at Montreal):

The itensity seems to be always the same to me. Whether it's at high speed, or low speed.

Not the best example of real world video as that is compressed as hell and probably running at 240p. But I do understand.

I must have missed that this was a clean install because sometimes graphics bugs are fixed by deleting the shaders so rFactor 2 rebuilds them on next load.

Also... does this happen on all cars the same? and all tracks the same?

Rain spray has definitely increased with this build. I have written even with previous builds how the level was too much but now it is simply ridiculas. With rear particles on, it is just a complete white out of the rear view mirror.

The new spray is way too thick. Take a look at image below. Especially bad when the sun is out.

This is also a complete fresh install of RF2

Intensity seems increased but l loved it in a wet test race. Oh for those screen streaks , now that would be intense.

edit: Just tested heavy rain at night. hmmm thats not good. pitch black spray , no headlight illumination at all

I think amount of spray is ok for a F1 car at high speed, with a lot of water on track. But for example with a Clio at low speed, and slightly wet track it's definitely to much. The intensity of spray dont variate much, its more like a on/off switch.

It´s like that since ever: produced spray is the same no matter what car, no matter what speed.
Woodee:
Shaders and CBash are emptied after updating automaticly as stated in changelog! So no need to suggest that every time...
