    Hello everyone.

I have a rather annoying problem:

    - I have vsync enabled via the nvidia panel and triple buffering
    - I have a 60 hz monitor
    - vsync is disabled in rfactor 2 (settings and game and I believe on player.json
    - max framerate in player.json = 0 (disabled)
    - overall smooth play with my graphics settings
    - Render Once Per VSync ": 0 in player.json (I have not touched)
    - Synchronize Frame ": 1 in the player.json (I have not touched):
Synchronize Frame # ":" Extrapolate graphics with accurate synchronization of the graphics, 0.0 (off) - 1.0 (full)
    - Steady Framerate Thresh ": 0.001 in the player.json (I have not touched)
    - Auto Detail Framerate "= 0

    PROBLEM (BUG):
    - When the game is launched (with car directx 11), the game is slightly jerky while the pc has NO DIFFICULTY.
    - When I click CTRL + F to see my FPS, the game is 100% fluid, at 60 FPS (corresponding to the 60 hz of my TV).

This makes too much information not necessary on the screen, in a simulation it must have nothing but the cockpit and the road !!!!!!

    Thank you.

    .

Use alt+tab by holding alt and scroll with tab on the top of rf2 screen and release alt+tab.
    ;)

Thank you so much for responding so quickly.

There is a solution then, great !!

By cons google translate makes me a totally erroneous translation.

By reading in English I do not fully understand, in particular or do what you told me:
in race or on the controller menu to assign the keys?

If you (or anyone else) could explain to me with a little more detail (or where to place and the steps to lead) please, it would be very nice !!!

    Thank you all.

I believe that many people are experiencing bad looking and jerky game and don`t know how to use alt - tab to solve this problem.
When you are playing rF2 you push alt + tab, hold alt release tab. Monitor goes black and you see something like this: alt_tab.jpg
Hold alt and scroll with the tab and when the white frame on the top of the rFactor 2 screen release alt.
I hope you understand what I mean, I am bit lost in translation too :(

    I think I understood.
    I'll try that.

I tried something like this this morning and it """""seems""""" to work.

I'll come back to this topic when I try it in rf2.

    Thank you very much !!

Could be that it fixes your jerky experience. You can just try it no harm is done.

    Hi,

ALT + TAB doesn't work in rfactor (fullscreen and windowed).
It's work on windows 7 : to switch applications.

But your tips can solve my issue. Because it works one time.

An idea ? (don't find solution on google...)

Alt+tab works fine for me as many times I like to use it. I am using Win10 Pro.
Alt+tab bug is fixed in DX11.

Hey Ari, your alt-tab trick worked for me after upgrading Windows 7 to 10.
No more stuttering and graphic settings all turned back up.
    Thank you, Mark.

If you are experiencing difficulties with alt+tab. The solution is to close all apps and programs including steam. Start rFactor 2 from rfactor2.exe, tick Auto Close Launcher and you have smooth rFactor 2.

    :)

Guys, I don`t remember if that green message pops up about screenshots when in win 7 or 8. If it does tick don`t show this message again and restart rFactor 2 again.
