In the menu where i select the tracks, the AtlantaMP Kart Layout A is listed separated from the other layouts, as 2nd last track in the list.
I've had this problem ever since Zandvoort was released. The track that should be first alphabetically gets put to the bottom of the list. Sometimes Zandvoort appears at the top (which is what I have right now)!
@jayarrbee36 That's really weird, when i remove the zandvoort track from the installed folder, the AtlantaMP Kart Layout A is listed in the correct folder with all other layouts. So the question is, why tracks can influence each other in this way.
when you have tracks with multiple layouts, there is a chance mod/track builders will choose a name for one or more of the layouts that has already been used at another track. When rF2 finds two tracks with the same name, it ignores one. The best solution is to note the tracks that cause conflicts and contact the track builder to see if he/she/it will change the name somewhat to avoid the conflicts.
Here's the top of my track selection list right now: As you can see Zandvoort is sorted to the top. It gets better! Here's the bottom of the list: The third Apple Valley Speedway layout is separated from the rest - at the bottom of the list! Not a show-stopping bug by any means, but still a bit annoying.
What happens if you uninstall zandvoort? My theory is that the problem occurs when the first track in alphabetical order has multiple layouts, regardless zandvoort, which happens to be the last one by chance. If I am correct a new track will apppear in the top of the list but the problem with Apple Valley will remain.
I have the same sort of problem with Oulton Park, there's three of them spread over the whole menu (with the last one at the very bottom) when Zandvoort is installed (zandvoort also installed directly below Oulton Park in the menu list)....unsubscribe to Zandvoort and Oulton Park is back to normal, resubscribe to Zandvoort and Outlon Park splits again...had a squiz at Zandvoort in Devmode but can't see anything out of the ordinary. My first track with multiple layouts is Albi 2006 EDIT: the only thing a bit different I noticed in Zandvoort mas files was that one had a desktop.ini file and a vegetation.scn file in them.
Without Zandvoort installed the track list is sorted correctly. Subscribe to Zandvoort again, exactly the same problem again. Weird...
