Found a bug if you press the 'Change Data Path' button in the Launcher.
What happens is, it changes your data path from (for example):
    'd:\Games\rFactor2data'
    to
    'd:/Games/rFactor2data'
...and that will kill your install.
The game then starts looking for data files in your core instead of your data folders. Game then reports no mods found. You try install mods but then get problems with the game unable to find stuff for example Showroom and Clio pace car etc. as those files are in your data path folders.

It's always done this since the beginning, it's not the forward slashes that cause the problems it's the 2 characters that get appended when you use the 'Change Data Path' button.

Don't know what you mean i never killed a install copy and pasting.

    2 installs:

    I start 2nd Launcher
change data path and browse for second root folder, click once on root rFactor2 folder
It changes path but don't start rF2 yet ... lol

Now start the 2nd mod manager and re path the packages.

( I use one packages archived seperate for all installs )

    Click 2nd rFactor2 icon , no problem

I dunno what to say DD, changing the data path via the launcher always corrupted the data.path file for me which stopped rF2 from launching, I have to edit the data.path file manually to get it working again.
