Can somebody explain how hybrid power is used?
I've mapped the button and it seems to work as long as I hold that button down. On the last race I did, it allowed me 15s per lap and I could see that counting down on the dash with a big green bar to show me I'm holding it (and presumably to indicate remaining battery). All good.
But when I try to deploy it, even when I have time left, it doesn't always happen. Is it limited to a number of deploys per lap? Or does it need to regenerate enough to actually become available? I see a blue bar pop up on the right of the dash sometimes, which I think might indicate regeneration. There are also some LEDs on the dash that seem to relate to hybrid: red, green and another one. I'm in a Honda Civic.
Explanation of what's going on here would be appreciated.
