btcc always left a bad taste in my mouth because of the way that they race. They were actually a running joke for quite sometime. I prefer WTCC.

    my 2 cents. :)

Just interested to know why you feel "the way that they race" differs from BTCC to WTCC?

Great to see there is some Bttc content though big shame there isnt enough for a league, so far! More please Tim ;)

Simracingpro.com opens its sign ups soon for what will be a league based on btcc with the ssr s2000 mod. ;)

I thought they did, but the news that their license expired last year is the best news I've heard all day! That ISI got a license to even one car is good news too. If the game engine was finished I can guarantee every BTCC car and track would be in-game within the year, but all we can do is wait.

The 2013 field is even bigger now with more teams entering new brands.

Plus the addition of the new Formula Ford to the package.

I'm guessing it's Silverstone as it already been mentioned it's being done . And for the car I go with the Honda .

Considering the Corvette and Camaro licences that Tim has already acquired, a BTCC Chevy Cruze wouldn't be hard to imagine.

Lol, not entirely true ;) ISI licenced them before tim was hired :) Nevertheless, you are right that it isn't hard to imagine. It is however going to be the Honda, just mark my words :p

I'm sure I see an 's' in your post there Tim, just before 'this' and just after 'car'.

I wish it said 'cars' anyway :(

I'd like to, but part of me is much more interested in older touring cars than modern ones. Am I alone there? Modern cars are too much like race cars for me. ;) The one I did get was fairly easy as I went direct to owner, most others you have to go to the manufacturer and it's a bit of a pain. But I'll keep trying...

Then again, I do like the idea of multiple cars, but right now a single example was my priority (for league usage mainly, equal equipment, etc). These days people don't seem to use a variation of cars if one is clearly faster, which is a shame really... It has always been that way in some ways, you would seldom see anything but a Lotus at Monza in GPL, etc...

I prefer the current touring cars myself but that's not to say the older stuff isn't great too. I just like to race the cars I watch on TV from the BTCC, WTCC and DTM.

It's right what Tim says about multi model races though. People do generally gravitate to what they believe to be the best car and everyone uses it. That's what I've seen from racing various games online. It is indeed a shame, but that's the win-at-all-costs nature of online gaming.
