When I looked into it I couldn't reproduce it. Additionally there is nothing hugely obvious in the track either. A replay file would be useful .

Donno if it would help but I had a similar issue on our Bahrain where the LMP1 cars hitted a wall when driving thru the gravel back onto a road surface. After a lot searching I found the TDF was at cause, a too high setting at the Gravel caused the cars to go negative as well in the gravel and even going under the mesh.

Anyway that was info and has nothing to do with this issue in particular.

The AI and a car in general can in real life not go under the tarmac level, which is something the game can do if you want it to.
Lately I go very low on the TDF effects and noticed a much better gameplay.

It might help some cars going negative on serious downforces at that part of the track, I'm almost sure if some cars cannot handle the downforce at that part of the track that they will go negative on the surface.

What Coutie says can be true if the collision model or undertray values are wrong on those openwheelers.

I need a modder for the AIW, the AI with the GT3 are slow in 2 corners, I easily overtake them here, I can donate.
